Hello Resident
I am delighted to be able to let you know that booking is open for the final in-person Bystander Intervention workshops in Hackney. These are happening throughout March and April, but booking is limited for this free workshop.
The workshops are designed to support you to make informed choices when confronted with a situation, maybe someone is being harassed on public transport or in the high street. With this in mind, there is lots of conversations, challenging of bias and addressing how small, what may seem insignificant actions, can have a lasting impression on others.
The workshops last for 2 hours and at the end you will receive one of our Bystander Intervention Workshop booklets along with a special easy to use credit card size prompt to help you understand how you could intervene.
Sounds interesting? Then please book your place on our workshops. Remember that spaces are limited so please book. To book click on the link of the workshop you wish to join and enter your details.
The next workshops will be held: Thursday 26 March - 1pm - 3pm - Halkevi Community Café- 31-33 Dalston Lane E8 3DF - Lunch included Wednesday 15 April - 10am to 12pm – Old Fire Station Community Centre – 61 Leswin Rd, London N16 7NX - Lunch included
We hope to see you soon!
Best wishes
Cheryl
